About Ocmulgee Brewpub

Located at 484 2nd St, Macon, GA 31201, Ocmulgee Brewpub operates as an other food place serving Macon in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as beer hall, brewpub, hamburger restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

If you were expecting a restaurant, market or cafe and landed on a listing in this group, it usually means the original source listed the business under an unusual or mixed category rather than a plain food label. Contact information, address and hours are still pulled from the same public data used across Macon and Georgia, so they should be accurate even where the category is not a perfect fit. Because this group spans everything from medical clinics to auto shops to gift stores, there is no single etiquette or norm that applies across it; treat each listing on its own terms and call ahead if the category alone does not tell you what you need to know.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Ocmulgee Brewpub at (478) 254-2848; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Macon is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Macon is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Quick stop on our way up to TN from FL. I grabbed the β€œHoney I Drunk the Kids” to go , a great honey-forward Farmhouse. Owner Nick was awesome to chat with and gracious with some swag, Maria was very friendly. Wish we had time to stay for the food, def a goto next time I’m in Macon

So, we were told by a waitress at another awesome Macon restaurant, to go to Ocmulgee Brewpub for the best burger in town...SHE WAS RIGHT! She explained that another establishment tried to claim that fame but it just wasn't true. The handcut fries were another highlight to this cheerful and fun joint, that is not a watering hole alone, but a delicious place to refuel & have fun playing a board game or watching some sports. Oh, and they do have gluten free buns, but they were out when we visited.

I seem to only go when they're out of certain toppings, but the burgers are still great- perfectly cooked and greasy. My friend loved her black bean burger with pimento cheese and says it's her favorite place in Macon. Overall a great hangout place with friendly service.

the first time i came to this restaurant was 8 years ago when passing through going south, and i loved it then, so this past weekend i decided to take a day trip to macon and try it out again. it was AMAZING, in every single way! the beer was so delicious, i would recommend getting the 4oz glasses to sample different types of them. and then there’s the food, 10/10. no other explanation. you have to get the blaze burger, which has a fried egg, pepperjack, pico de gallo, pub sauce, and jalapeΓ±os. best burger i’ve ever had in the state of georgia period. our server was very friendly too but it was busy at the time so we were all very patient. can’t wait to come back here and if you live in or are passing through macon, go try them out!

We visited on Saturday evening and loved the vibe of this brewpub. The waitress was great with answering our questions and service was good. The burgers were cooked exactly as we ordered them and all ingredients were fresh. Their sauces were a highlight… the jalapeΓ±o ranch was to rave about. Excellent hint of heat in a homemade ranch made this the perfect pairing with their hand cut fries. The beer selection was solid and our choices were delicious- the Riverside and the Peach sour were both ones we would recommend. Finding parking on a Saturday night was the only part of this experience that was less than stellar. We will definitely be back.
